BUYING ONLINE

Customers from the UK can purchase products either on-line through the sjtmedical.com website, or by contacting us directly via telephone number + 44 (0) 114 272 8 273, and placing your order.

If purchasing on-line, you will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until you confirm the order. After you submit an order we will send you by email an ‘Order Reference Number’ together with details of the products you have ordered. We will then send you a second email when we start to process your order.
Please note that these e-mails are acknowledgements only and not acceptance of your order.

Acceptance of your order will only occur when we send you a third e-mail, which will contain details of how we will deliver your products to you. Alternatively, we may decline all or part of your order for any reason, in which case you will be informed about this in a third email. We will also inform you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method.

Payment

For UK customers we accept all major credit cards, payment by cash deposit and payment by bank transfer or cheque (after a 6 working days clearance period).

For overseas orders please contact us.

The total cost of your order will be the price of the products you order, any additional services you choose plus the delivery charge. All these will be set out clearly in your Shopping Basket before you submit your order.

We will work to ensure that availability of the website will be uninterrupted and that transmissions will be error-free. However, this cannot always be guaranteed and your access to the website may occasionally be prevented or restricted in order to allow for repairs, maintenance and/or upgrades to the site.

Shipping and Delivery

All products purchased from SJT Medical will be shipped as soon as possible, subject to payment card authorisation and stock availability.

Orders will be sent to your delivery address in secure and protective packaging, through Royal Mail www.royalmail.com or by Courier Service unless otherwise requested. All deliveries must be signed for, and we ask that you retain the receipt enclosed with your goods.

Loupes, dopplers and headlights will be sent by overnight courier or by Royal Mail Special Delivery, and all other smaller items will be sent by ordinary 1st class post.

Postal Charges are as follows:

• All orders totaling more than £500 will be delivered free charge
• Orders totaling less than £500 will be charged as below. The cost of delivery will
be clearly indicated in your basket prior to checkout

• UK (excludes Channel Islands)
• Depending on stock availability, items will usually be dispatched within 7 days. All deliveries will be made according to the carriers' standard procedures and must be signed for. Products will not be sent to PO box addresses.
• Delivery times will be longer if your products require customisation e.g. fitting of prescription lenses.
• We ship to most international destinations. The delivery charge will depend on your location. All costs associated with the delivery as quoted by us are to be paid by you with the price of the goods. Please note that duty, sales tax and clearance charges etc are NOT included in the price and are payable by you upon arrival to port of the destination country.

Returns and Refund Policy

We want you to be totally satisfied with every purchase you make from SJT Medical. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return it to our address listed below within 14 working days of delivery, unused and in its original packaging, together with the receipt, and we will exchange the product or offer you a full refund. In addition, all our products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a minimum of 12 months. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Distance Selling Regulations

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website for a full refund. This does not apply to items personalised or made to your specification.

In relation to the purchase of our loupes; if at your request we customise your loupes by supplying and fitting prescription lenses you will be liable for these charges. You will be advised of these charges prior to paying for the goods.

To cancel, you can email us or write to us (at the address above) within seven days of delivery of your item(s), quoting your order reference number. You must take reasonable care of the item(s) and MUST NOT use them.
